On visiting, it soon becomes evident why this is such a popular and attractive region. Scattered with vineyards an producing the finest velvety wine, the region is a delight for any age group.
The 3 star, family run Rhein Hotel Rudeshem is located in the heart of Rudesheim and only a short stroll from all the main attractions of the town including castle ruins and cultural museums.
All rooms have full facilities, TV, telephone and hairdryer. There is a bar/restaurant, indoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna and wine cellar.

B&B Hotel Koblenz
This is a lovely hotel located in Koblenz. There is 100 rooms which are a mix of doubles, twins, triple and family rooms. In typical German style there is bunk beds and two twins set into one double frame with students having single quilts. There is a lovely reception area and restaurant for breakfast.
Jungendherberge Koblenz
This is a hostel of a very good standard, they have 157 beds in rooms which sleep 1, 2 or 4. All rooms have a shower & toilet. It is in a great location in Koblenz so would be ideal for school groups wishing to keep costs down. They do offer Bed and Breakfast, Half Board & Full Board to suit your needs.

Hotel Anker
This hotel is the furthest south, located in Brodenbach, but has the best facilities with a swimming pool and skittle alley so would provide great evening activities for students. The hotel is ideal if teachers are looking for a traditional German experience. They have 150 rooms all en-suite and also a dance hall!

Visit Geyser Andernach – Andernach Geyser is the highest cold-water geyser in the world, reaching heights of 30 to 60 metres. Take a boat trip and a short walk to the Geyser to witness the beautiful sight and get close if you dare (its cold)!
Visit the Lava Dome Volcanic Park Museum – The Lava-Dome, the German volcano museum in Mendig, presents vulcanism in the region around the Laacher See volcano. The museum is one of the central attractions in the volcano park. The exhibition area covers 700 square meters and includes three sections: “The world of the volcanoes”, “The volcano studio” and “The time of the volcanoes”.

- Visit the Nurburgring for the afternoon which will focus on science and engineering.
